The superior lateral brachial cutaneous nerve is a branch of the axillary nerve. It is located over the posterior aspect of the deltoid muscle.The medial brachial cutaneous nerve, also called the medial cutaneous nerve of the arm, arises directly from the medial cord of the brachial plexus.
