Identify the ulnar nerve [two probes] as it runs with the ulnar artery in the forearm. Verify that the ulnar nerve gives branches to flexor carpi ulnaris muscle and to the medial half of flexor digitorum profundus muscle.

At the elbow, the ulnar nerve lies in a groove between the olecranon and the medial epicondyle of the humerus. In this location the nerve is extremely superficial and prone to injury.
