The rotation of the radius about the ulna results in the movements of supination (the palmar surface of the hand is rotated upward or anterior) and pronation (the palmar surface of the hand is rotated downward or posterior).
Hint: A helpful memory trick is to remember that the movement of supination enables us to hold a bowl of "soup" in our hand.Links and References:
