In the inguinal region, attempt to identify the horizontal and vertical groups of superficial inguinal lymph nodes. The inguinal lymph nodes of the horizontal group parallel the inguinal ligament and is located about 2 cm below it. The vertical lymph node group passes along both sides of the great saphenous vein near the saphenous hiatus. Links and References: |
