In the embalmed cadaveric specimen, structures which lie in close proximity to the lung leave impressions on the lung surface. It is useful to examine these impressions to gain an understanding of the anatomical relationship in the chest.

On the mediastinal surface of the right lung, attempt to identify the following impressions (Figure 19.5):
