(2 of 3) Branches of the maxillary nerve supply the skin of the lower eyelid, over the zygoma below the orbit, and over the upper lip. Branches of the maxillary nerve include the infraorbital nerve, zygomaticofacial nerve and zygomaticotemporal nerve. The infraorbital nerve emerges from the infraorbital foramen.
The branches of the mandibular nerve supply the skin just anterior to the ear over the lower cheek, lower lip, and the anterior aspect of the mandibular. The major sensory branches of the mandibular nerve are the buccal nerve, mental nerve, and auriculotemporal nerve.
