Identify the following sensory branches of the trigeminal nerve:


Note that the supraorbital, infraorbital and mental foramina lie in the same parasagittal plane.

Refer to an atlas or a reference text and review the pattern of nerve distribution for each major division of the trigeminal nerve on the superficial face. Other branches of each of the three trigeminal nerve divisions will be studied during dissection of the orbit and deep face.
