(2 of 2) Identify and reflect the ischiocavernosus muscle , which covers the crura of the clitoris. Cut and reflect the bulbospongiosus muscle to expose the erectile tissue of the vestibule, called the bulb of the vestibule . Free the superior surface of the bulb of the vestibule from the inferior fascia of the urogenital diaphragm. As the bulb is elevated, attempt to identify the paired greater vestibular gland (of Bartholin). It is located on the posterior edge of the bulb of the vestibule. Links and References:
