(2 of 2) The deep perineal pouch contains the muscles of the urogenital diaphragm, membranous urethra, part of the vagina, and vessels and nerves .
Identify the dorsal nerve of the clitoris and the dorsal artery of clitoris which run parallel to the ischiopubic rami inside the deep perineal pouch . The deep artery to the crus and the dorsal artery of the clitoris are terminal branches of the internal pudendal artery. Trace the course of the internal pudendal artery proximally as it passes through the deep pouch and identify the artery to the bulb of the vestibule (Figure 41.4).Links and References:
