(2 of 2) Follow the pudendal nerve and internal pudendal vessels proximally. As they enter the perineum, they pass between the sacrotuberous ligament and sacrospinous ligament. Branches of the internal pudendal vessels accompany the inferior rectal and perineal nerves. The internal pudendal artery passes into the urogenital diaphragm and terminates as the dorsal arteries of the penis and deep arteries of the penis (Figure 42.3).Links and References: |
