(4 of 4) The rectal examination is an important part of the physical examination in the male. To better understand the structures which can be palpated, insert the index finger inside the rectum.
Identify organs palpable by rectal examination, which are the:
- prostate gland
- seminal vesicles
- ductus deferens and
- ampullae
