Identify the serratus anterior muscle [indicated by the lower probe]. It arises from the outer surface of the upper eight ribs and attaches on the anterior surface of the scapula near its vertebral margin. It is innervated by the long thoracic nerve ( see Laboratory Five).Links and References:
