Most of these cutaneous nerves are sensory branches of larger nerves that will be studied later. Identify the following cutaneous nerves of the anterior thigh and leg:
lateral femoral cutaneous nerve, anterior branches (a branch of the lumbar plexus) located over the upper lateral aspect of the thigh
