The Internal Auditory Meatus and Associated Nerves

In the cranial cavity, identify the following:
middle cranial fossa
posterior cranial fossa
tentorium cerebelli
, cut edge
superior petrosal sinus
tegmen tympani
(roof of middle ear cavity)
middle meningeal artery, branches
vestibulocochlear and the facial nerve
in the internal auditory meatus
Also, using the
lobe of the external ear
as a reference,
identify the general regions of the middle ear beneath the
tegmen tympani
and
the inner ear
in the petrous portion of the temporal bone.
