The ductus (vas) deferens is the most posterior structure in the spermatic cord. It can be identified by its hard, cord-like texture. It is supplied by the artery to the vas deferens (deferential artery).
The testicular artery is surrounded by the pampiniform venous plexus . At the level of the deep inguinal ring, the vessels of the pampiniform venous plexus converge to form a single testicular vein.
The genital branch of the genitofemoral nerve (L1-L2) which innervates the cremaster muscle is usually located on the surface of the cremasteric fascia.
The ilioinguinal nerve (L1) which was previously identified at the superficial inguinal ring. Lies on the anterior surface of the external spermatic fascia.Links and References:
