Using blunt dissection, identify and clean the right gastroepiploic artery [different specimen] and left gastroepiploic artery , which lie along the greater curvature of the stomach. The left gastroepiploic artery originates from the splenic artery and passes through the gastrolienal ligament to reach the stomach. The right gastroepiploic artery is a branch of the gastroduodenal artery . The left and right gastroepiploic arteries anastomose along the greater curvature of the stomach.
