APGO Educational Objectives

Rationale: Accurately identifying problems and selecting the most likely diagnosis leads to effective management plans. 

After completing the history and physical examination, the student will demonstrate the ability to: 

  1. Generate a problem list 
  2. Form a diagnostic Impression Including differential diagnosis 
  3. Consider economic and psychosocial issues 
  4. Develop a management plan that includes: 
    1. Laboratory and diagnostic studies 
    2. Treatment 
    3. Patient education 
    4. Continuing care plans
