Rationale: Perinatal mortality and morbidity may be increased significantly in a -prolonged pregnancy. Prevention of complications associated with postterm pregnancy is one of the goals of anteparturn and intraparturn management.

- Normal period of gestation
- Complications of postmaturity
- Management of prolonged gestation
