9. Abdomen CT #2, axial plane

Abdominal CT #2 is approximately at the level of T12 vertebra. The porta hepatis is visualized at this level containing the common hepatic artery anterior to the main portal vein. The gallbladder sits in the interlobar fissure (dividing right and left hepatic lobes). Most of the body and tail of the pancreas are seen, as well as the upper pole of both kidneys.
