11. Venous phase of internal carotid arteriogram, lateral projectionThe superior sagittal sinus is in the upper, fixed border of the falx cerebri. The great cerebral vein (of Galen) is joined by the inferior sagittal sinus (not visualized on this image — occupies the free, lower margin of the falx cerebri) to form the straight sinus. The straight sinus is located at the line of junction of the falx cerebri with the tentorium cerebelli, and ends at the confluence of sinuses. |
