The plane of imaging is at the level of the symphysis pubis, inferior acetabula, and vagina.

This image shows well the obturator internus muscles and their tendons as they sweep around the lesser sciatic foramen toward the greater trochanter. Note the close relationship between the vagina and the posterior wall of the bladder.
