12. Female pelvis CT#3, axial plane

The plane of imaging is through the middle one-third of the vagina and the base of the urinary bladder.

The margins of the vagina and inferior rectum merge with each other. The ischiorectal fossa is well seen on this image. (See also Image #5, CT#2 of the male pelvis).
