9. Male pelvis MRI #4, coronal plane

The plane of imaging is through the anterior abdominal wall and scrotum.

The spermatic cords are seen both within the inguinal canals and scrotum. The three cylindrical masses of erectile tissue in the body of the penis — paired corpora cavernosa dorsally and single corpus spongiosum ventrally — are visualized. The scrotal septum divides this pouch into two separate compartments, each containing a testis and epididymis.
