12. Wrist radiograph, lateral projectionNote the anterior (volar) angulation of the articular surface of the distal end of the radius. Two convex bony outlines overlap the distal end of the radius: the more proximal one is the proximal surface of the lunate, and the more distal outline is the proximal surface of the navicular (scaphoid). The rounded head of the capitate lies just distal to the concave outline cast by the distal surface of the lunate. |
